Royal Canin Veterinary Gastro Intestinal GIJ 29 Puppy Food is a complete dog food to aid puppies afflicted with intestinal absorption disorders. Rich in easily digested energy and elevated levels of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes, Royal Canin’s Gastro Intestinal Junior formula is ideal for puppies suffering from chronic or acute diarrhoea, malabsorption, maldigestion, colitis, or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

Also suitable for pregnant and lactating mums as well as convalescing puppies recovering after an operation, illness or injury, Gastro Intestinal Junior is densely packed with energy to meet your pet’s calorific requirements in smaller, more manageable portions. Loaded with nutrients to maintain a healthy intestinal tract, the kibbles can be softened with water to help your growing puppy as they make the switch from milk.

We recommend you seek an opinion from a veterinarian before beginning this diet. Once started, dogs with acute diarrhoea should be fed Veterinary Gastro Intestinal Junior GIJ 29 dog food for a period of one to two weeks, until the problem is resolved. Please do not feed Veterinary Gastro Intestinal Junior GIJ 29 to dogs with pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia, lymphangiectasia, or any condition requiring a low fat diet.
