Royal Canin Veterinary Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie GIM 23 is designed to aid dogs suffering from intestinal absorption disorders. This low fat formula is expertly formulated with easily digestible ingredients and elevated levels of electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals, and is ideal for dogs afflicted with inflammatory bowel disease, chronic or acute diarrhoea, malabsorption, maldigestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, gastritis, colitis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, or chronic pancreatitis.
With a specially tailored calorie content to help your dog reach and maintain optimal body weight – a common problem in neutered dogs, or dogs with lower activity levels – Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie is enriched with nutrients such as EPA-DHA fatty acids to contribute towards a healthy digestive system. What’s more, this recipe is formulated to be especially delicious to tempt dogs with reduced or selective appetites.
We recommend you seek an opinion from a veterinarian before beginning this diet. Once started, dogs with acute diarrhoea should be fed Veterinary Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie dog food for a period of one to two weeks until the problem is resolved. Please do not feed Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie GIM 23 to pregnant or lactating dogs or puppies.
